Six passengers, including a woman and a child were killed, while 15 others sustained injuries in a road accident near here on Tuesday.


According to details, a passenger coach on its way from Karachi to Bannu collided with a passenger van which was going to Moro near Rangers Petrol Pumb on the Bypass Road.


As a result, six passengers, including a woman and a child, died on the spot while 15 others sustained injuries.


The injured were shifted to hospital by the rescue teams, while the driver of the passenger coach has been arrested.


The dead included Muhammad Hanif Qureshi, Nawaz Ali Shah, Ms Abal Raho, Himmat Ali Chandio, eight-year-old girl Saiqa Raho and two other unidentified victims.

 

Some of the injured were identified as Ali Hassan, Qasim Malah, Riaz Ahmed, Shamsuddin, Arshad Malik, Azmatullah, Hakim Gul and Ms Sumera.
