Peshawar- Security Arrangements for Moharram

peshawar: security on high alert, panic prevails in dwellers

On the eve of Moharram-ul-Haram government has high alerted the security of the country including Peshawar city. The law enforcement agencies have made all the arrangements for foolproof security, while the different areas of Peshawar has been barricaded including Namak Manddi and Yakatoot. Heavy Police contingent has been deployed in sensitive areas. While snap checking of vehicles has been started in the city.

In spite of high security arrangements, the recent incidents of bomb explosion in Peshawar, has created panic among the inhabitants of the city while the high security arrangements are frightening the people. “We are still afraid of recent bomb blast in the city and news regarding four suspected vehicles has enter in the city, has increased our worries a lot”, a citizen of Peshawar has said, ha remarked, “if we do our business or keep an eye on suspected vehicles”. 


Another citizen of Peshawar while expressing his hope said that police personals are checking the suspected vehicles s and by the grace of God there will be no explosion. A police personal, discharging his duties at a barricade has informed that arrangements has been made to maintain law and order situation in the city on the holy month of Moharram. He further said that it was our responsibility to protect  the soul and property of the citizens.
