at least fifty petrol pumps sealed in pakistan's karachi.

Custom intelligence along with police and rangers raided and sealed the more than 50 petrol pumps, in Pakistan's commericial hub karachi on Sunday (November 24), involved in selling of the smuggled Iranian  petrol in Karachi.


In a press briefing in Custom house Karachi Tariq Al Hadi collector custom Karachi said custom intelligence along with rangers,police,district administration and municipal administration raided the Yousaf Goth by pass.

Smuggled petrol has been confiscated from the shops and encroachments have been demolished

however no one was arrested so far, Custom official said.

In a recent crackdown against availability of smuggled POL products in the city, a joint operation has been launched by Pakistan Customs against illegally constructed petrol pumps along the Northern Bypass and Karachi West.
