Federal law maker of MQM, Farooq Sattar, Inagurates Institute of Public health in Pakistan’s Karachi on Wednesday(December 25).
Farooq Sattar said that government should take steps to prevent diseases along with spending money on the treatment of the poor patients.
Current health budget should be increased which will provide better facilities to the public.
The MQM leader Farooq Sattar, said this during his address in the opening ceremony of Institute of Public Health established by Jinnah Sindh Medical University.
The diseases are increasing in whole country including Karachi.
He said to decrease the diseases government needs to make a health policy.
he bad sanitation system in Karachi is spreading various disease . He further said it is unfortunate that till date polio, measles and other diseases could not be eradicated, people should get get vaccinated.
He said today Dec 25 is Quaid-e-Azam's birthday as well as Christmas and on this happy occasion he congratulated the people of the country.
Dr. Farooq Sattar said the Karachi Jinnah Medical University has grown immensely in a short time and we hope that it will continue to grow with the same way.
Jinnah Medical University's Vice-Chancellor Punjab University Prof Tariq Rafi highlighted the two-year performance and said in the university admissions are given on merit without any recommendation which has been appreciated.
Association of Physicians of Pakistani Dentist of North America President Dr. Javed Suleman said taking admission in Institute of Public Health will benefit students immensely. Large number of students were also present on this occasion.
