A polio team was attacked on Sunday (December 99), injuring four people including a minor girl in Pakistan’s Quetta.
According to reports, the polio team was administering vaccines to children in Pashtoonabad when militants hurl a grenade at them which blasted and injured a five-year-old girl and a lady health worker.
The police reached the scene and started investigation.
The wounded, including the minor girl were immediately rushed to the hospital.
The attack also led to partial damage of a nearby house.
A polio campaign is under-way in Baluchistan for the last five days.
