A protest rally was held by workers and supporters of Awami Tehreek from Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s (PAT) main office to Mall road over inflation and a sit in protest was demonstrated.
Large number of members of  Pakistan Awami Tehreek were present in rally.
Women ,children and teenager also took part in the rally.
Doctor Tahir-UL-Qadri  addressed via video link to the rally and said today's rally is a historic gathering where women, children, laborers, farmers and people from all walks of life are participating.
He said the time has come for a peaceful revolution and today is the first day against injustice and cruelty.
He said leaders of Pakistan should give rights to the people of Pakistan.
He said Pakistan Awami Tehreek had announced revolution under the article 32 as politics along with the business destroyed the country. 
He Further said today's large number of gatherings is the start of the revolution, a second round would be final and the revolution would complete before the third round.
