Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has advised the President of Pakistan to approve the conferment of Sitara-e-Shujjat to martyr Aitizaz Hussain, a student of class 9 from District Hangu who foiled suicide attack on school, on Friday (January 10) in Pakistani capital Islamabad.

The brave student was on his way to school when he spotted a suspicious person. When Atizaz called out to this person, he started walking faster towards the school; Aitzaz ran towards the person prompting the suicide bomber to detonate his explosive laden vest.
Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif said in a statement that Martyr Aitizaz’s brave act saved the lives of hundreds of students and established a sterling example of gallantry and patriotism.
