22 killed including school students in pakistani district nawabshah.
At least 18 students and three staff memebers of a school were killied in an road accident on Wednesday (January 15) in Pakistani district Nawabshaha.
According to rescue sources, the accident occurred at Qazi Ahmed Link Road where the school van faced the accident.
According to police reports, 17 students between the ages of 10 to 16 were killed in the accident and several others injured.
The students were traveling to back home to Dulatpur after taking part in a competition in Nawabshah.
The dead bodies and the injured children were shifted to the People's Medical Collehe Hospital.
After receiving news of the accident, the families of students rushed to the hospital where an emergency has been declared.
According to the police, the driver of the truck fled and a search for him is underway. Chief Minister Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah has summoned the report of the accident from the district administration.
