Jamat-e-Islami held a protest against the hanging of JI leaders in Bangladesh in front of Bet-ul-Mukarma mosque in Pakistan’s commericial hub Karachi.
Large number of Jamat-e-Islami supporters and leaders were present in the protest.
Protest was led by Ameer-e-Jammat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman.
Demonstrators were holding banners, placards and party flags.
Protestants chanted slogans against the Bangladeshi government, who hanged Jamat-e-Islami leaders in Bangladesh.
Speakers while addressing said we condemned this act of Bangladesh government in which Rahman Nizami and other Muslim leaders are sentenced to death.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman while talking to journalists said Rheman Nizami and other Muslims execution should be banned and should be freed from fake cases.
He further said people of democratic world should raise their voice against the crimes of Bangladeshi government and the government of Sheikh Haseena Wajid should be removed.
