Peshawar- Protest Against Attack on Imam Bargah.

Shi’ite held protest in front of the Peshawar Press Club against terrorist attack on Hussaini Imam Bargah located in Kochi Bazar on Monday(February 17).


Large number of workers were present in the protest and were carrying banners and placards. 


Protesters were raising slogans against the attack on Hussaini Imam Bargah and demanded the government to take action against the culprits.


Zaheer Hussain who is worker of Majlis Wahdat Muslaimeen said that the bomb was used to attack the Imam Bargah but police is covering it as gas leakage which is reprehensible.


He further said that neither we are being given protection nor our problems are being solved.


He said the poor performance of police is causing frustration in the public and Shi’ite elders are being killed every other day despite the presence of police.


Protesters demanded that operation should be done against the criminals and those involved should be given strict punishment.
