grenade attack on two private tv channels near guru mandir in pakistan’s karachi
Media offices have come under attack when unknown terrorists hurled hand grenade on a private TV office late on Monday (February 17) in Pakistani commercial hub Karachi.
Hand grenades were hurled on offices of two private media Channels located in the area of Guru Mandir.
A driver and a guard of the private media channel were injured in attack.
Unknown motorcycles riders hurled the hand grenades on the main door of the office and ran away.
Police has cordoned off the area and have started the investigation.
In second attack hand grenades were hurled on another private channel office located near Quaid's mausoleum which luckily failed to detonate.
Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists have announced a protest across the country against the terrorist attack on media houses.
