Peshawar- Islami Jamiat Talaba Protest.

Members of Islami-Jamiat student wing held a protest on Tuesday (February 18) in front of Peshawar Press club against a clash, held on Friday(February 14) between Islami-Jamiat and Pakhtoon Student Federation, in the Peshawar University.

Protest was led by Nazim of Islami-Jamiat student wing Abid Ullah Shaheen.

Large number of workers took part in the protest; they were holding banners and placards on which slogans were written against the incident.

Protesters held activists of Pakhtoon Students Federation responsible for the in the incident which occurred on the celebrations of Valentine’s day on 14th February 2014 in Peshawar university and were chanting slogans against the incident.

Nazim Abdullah Shaheen said members of PSF burnt sacred Islamic literature in the university's hostel while police and the administration remained silent spectators.

The protesters accused that bullying is being encouraged in the University of Peshawar by Awami National Party.

 

They demanded that the government to ban the ANP and Pakthoon Student Federation for life time and arrest the culprits of Peshawar University incident.
