Residents of Bakrabad, suburd of Chitral, are deprived of clean water and have been using dirty water for their daily use.
In Bakraad Lalmi 1,2,3 and Acholgah the Government has not started any project to provide clean water for the locals of the area.
Women of the area bring water in buckets from the dirty drain in Chaghor Gol which is less than used for drinking and cooking food.
The drain is usually full of plastic, garbage and other waste material.
There are 210 houses in Bakrabad but facility of school, hospital and electricity are not available in the area.
Women of the area say even in this modern era they are forced to use dirty water which is spreading diseases and they have to travel a lot to reach hospital.
Development Program (CIADP), the Norwegian ambassador on demand of women has approved funding of 80 million rupees to solve water problems in the area.
After approval of funds the pipeline project has been launched.
Pipe is being brought from a distance of forty thousand feet which will be delivered to water tank and residents would be able to enjoy the facility of clean water.
