Arts Council, British council in collaboration with Oxford University Press arranged Literature Festival in Pakistani biggest city Karachi on Thursday (February 20).

The objective of this festival is to revive the spirit of literature in Pakistan.

Today's festival was arranged only for teachers who were present in large numbers in the event.

In festival stalls of different books were arranged.

The director of the Education organization said eminent poet of Pakistan, including author and artist are the festival's success.

He said standard and higher education will improve the future of Pakistan.

Festival director Nomana Hussain said teachers’ festival is arranged for the first time in Pakistan and different works shops have also been arranged for the teachers in the festival.

An artist said in the festival sessions of different languages like Sindhi, Balochi, Pashto other than Urdu will also be arranged.

Teachers appreciated the efforts of the administration and said such event should be held regularly..
