Tasneem Aslam, forcing office spokesperson, during a weekly foreign office briefing said that Pakistan can’t send troops in large number in Saudi Aribia as we are facing threats at our eastern and western borders.

She said that the total size of our armed forces is close to six hundred thousand. We have eastern border to take care of, then we have a situation on the western border and terrorists attacks as well.

Pakistan cannot spare to send troops in such large numbers. Secondly, there is no need. This issue was never discussed. This was never raised.

She said ISPR already has issued a statement over a tour of U.S Central command chief.

Tasneem Aslam further said that the officials of Iran and Pakistan will meet today to discuss the issue of abduction of five Iranian Guards.

She said Pakistan fully support the reconciliation process in Afghanistan.

Regarding the killing of FC personnel she said the investigations are being done to find out the place of the incident and we will contact government of Afghanistan if there is evidence of the incident occurring in Afghanistan.

She further said that d there is no change in a policy over issue of Syria and Pakistan wants the internal war going on in Syria to end soon.
