Father Risks Life to Save Young Son from Oncoming Train
According to international media reports, the incident took place at Bhairab Railway Junction. A passenger train was arriving at Platform No. 1 when a family—husband, wife, and their child—was preparing to board.
During the attempt to board the train, the woman slipped and fell onto the platform while holding the child. In the chaos, the child slipped from her arms and fell into the narrow gap between the platform and the moving train.
In a split-second act of bravery, the father jumped onto the railway track, grabbed his child, and lay flat on the ground, holding him tightly. Moments later, the train passed dangerously close to them. Miraculously, both father and son survived without serious injuries.
