5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Islamabad, Tremors Felt Across Northern Regions
The epicenter was located near the border region between Tajikistan and Xinjiang. Despite the intensity, no immediate reports of casualties or property damage have been received, and authorities are currently assessing the situation.
Tremors were also felt in Azad Kashmir, including the capital Muzaffarabad. In a separate seismic event, a 3.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the region with a depth of 25 kilometers. The epicenter of this tremor was located approximately 12 kilometers southeast of Muzaffarabad.
Officials have urged citizens to remain calm and follow safety precautions as monitoring continues.
