Deadly Blast in Lakki Marwat’s Sarai Naurang Bazaar Kills 7, Including 2 Police Officers
Police officials confirmed the blast, while hospital authorities stated that the deceased include two traffic police officers. More than 18 people, including women and children, were reportedly injured in the incident.
Rescue teams and law enforcement personnel rushed to the scene immediately after the explosion, and the injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for emergency treatment.
According to hospital sources, an emergency has been declared at Sarai Naurang Hospital due to the high number of casualties. Authorities are continuing rescue and investigation operations to determine the nature and cause of the blast.
Security has been tightened across the area, while officials fear the death toll could rise because several injured victims remain in critical condition.
The tragic incident has once again raised concerns over security in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
