The accused was brought to the court in a police mobile while wearing a veil under tight security. She was produced before the Judicial Magistrate South Court after completion of her physical remand. A heavy police contingent accompanied the suspect to the City Court, while her lawyer, Mir Hidayatullah Advocate, was also present during the hearing.
While being taken into custody, Anmol allegedly shouted at police officials, saying she was suffocating and asked them not to cover her face with a cloth.
During the hearing, some people present in the courtroom became emotional and raised slogans of “Marro Marro” against the accused. After the proceedings concluded, police officials escorted her out of the court amid heavy security.
The court reserved its decision regarding the remand of Anmol and two other suspects in all related cases.
Later, Anmol alias Pinky was also presented before the Malir Court by Sachal police. The investigating officer informed the court that narcotics were allegedly recovered from houses identified by the accused and requested further physical remand for interrogation.
However, the accused denied the allegations and claimed she was being framed in false cases. She told the court that she had been picked up from Lahore and falsely implicated in multiple cases.
Meanwhile, investigation teams from various police stations remained active in seeking custody of the suspect. Officers from Gizri and Darakhshan police stations also appeared in court to obtain her remand.
