A night of tragedy in Shangla — six innocent lives lost
According to Rescue 1122 officials, seven children were trapped under the debris when the roof suddenly collapsed. Rescue teams immediately reached the scene after receiving information and launched an emergency rescue operation.
Rescue personnel carried out intensive efforts with professional expertise to remove the trapped children from the rubble. Authorities stated that all seven children were recovered from beneath the debris; however, six of them lost their lives in the heartbreaking incident, while one girl was miraculously rescued alive.
Hospital sources confirmed that the injured girl received initial medical treatment before being shifted to a hospital for further care.
Rescue officials stated that the operation was conducted under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Shangla, Engineer Malik Sher Dil Khan, with all available resources utilized to complete the mission.
Police officials reported that the roof collapse took place at approximately 2:15 AM. The owner of the affected house was identified as Fazal Dad.
Authorities have expressed grief over the tragic incident, while further details are being investigated.
