Security Forces Kill 14 Terrorists in Intelligence-Based Operation in Balochistan
In a statement, the Pakistan Army's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the operation was launched after receiving intelligence reports regarding the presence of terrorists in the area.
According to ISPR, the militants were planning attacks on police stations and banks. Acting swiftly on credible intelligence, security forces carried out a targeted operation, effectively disrupting the terrorists' movements and preventing their planned attacks.
During the operation, security forces also destroyed four vehicles being used by the militants, along with improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
ISPR stated that Lance Havildar Muhammad Abbas embraced martyrdom while bravely fighting during the operation. The military paid tribute to his sacrifice and dedication in the line of duty.
A clearance operation is currently underway in the area to eliminate any remaining terrorists. ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan's security forces remain committed to continuing counterterrorism operations until the complete eradication of terrorism from the country.
