48 Terrorist Killed in Intelligence-Based Operations in North Waziristan Over 72 Hours
ISPR stated that security forces targeted multiple militant hideouts in the Miranshah area and its surrounding regions as part of ongoing operations based on actionable intelligence.
During intense clashes, 21 more militants linked to Fitna al-Khawarij were neutralized, including four key commanders identified as Khalid Raza alias Salar, Muftoon, Musa, and عمران alias Ayan. The military said these commanders were involved in multiple terrorist attacks, including the killing of security personnel and innocent civilians.
The operations dealt a major blow to militant networks active in the region. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the killed militants.
According to ISPR, the total number of militants killed in the ongoing operations has now reached 48. Clearance operations are continuing to eliminate remaining militants hiding in the area.
Asif Ali Zardari, Shehbaz Sharif, and Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for the successful operations against militants in North Waziristan.
