Solar Panel Prices Drop Significantly After Fuel Price Cut in Pakistan

Following the recent reduction in petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan, solar panel prices have witnessed a record decline across the market.
According to market sources, the decrease in petroleum product prices has led to a significant reduction in transportation and logistics costs, resulting in lower solar panel prices. Prices of solar plates of different watt capacities have dropped by Rs4,000 to Rs9,000.
Market experts believe that solar panel prices may fall even further in the coming days if fuel prices remain stable.
Sources also revealed that battery prices had surged sharply due to high petroleum costs. With the recent relief in fuel prices, battery prices are also expected to decrease soon.
Previously, the price of a single battery had increased by Rs27,000 to Rs38,000, putting additional financial pressure on consumers seeking alternative energy solutions.
The latest price reduction is expected to encourage more households and businesses to shift toward solar energy amid rising electricity costs in Pakistan.
