Petrol Price Reduced by Rs. 80 in Pakistan
In a national address, the Prime Minister stated that the ongoing conflict in the Gulf region has caused a sharp surge in global oil prices, impacting economies worldwide, including Pakistan. He highlighted that rising fuel costs have made life increasingly difficult for citizens, affecting households, farmers, and the overall cost of living.
Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the government has tried its best to protect the public from the inflation storm by utilizing limited national resources wisely. He revealed that over the past three weeks, the government spent Rs. 129 billion to prevent continuous fuel price hikes from burdening the people.
