Sindh Signs Key Agreements with Chinese Companies on Water

The agreements aim to strengthen practical collaboration across multiple sectors and boost economic and trade relations between Pakistan and China.
The first MoU was signed between the Sindh Local Government Department and LuXian Environmental Technology Group. Under this agreement, both parties will collaborate on desalination projects to convert seawater into usable water, helping address water shortages in Karachi. The agreement was signed by Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon and company chairman Yu Hui.
The second agreement was signed between the Sindh Local Government Department and Longping High-Tech Information Company to promote cooperation in agricultural technology. The MoU was signed by Sharjeel Inam Memon and Chairman Chen Zhishen.
The third MoU focuses on the tea sector and was signed between Musk & Fimty Trading Company, Hunan Tea Group, and Jialong International Technology (Hainan). From Pakistan’s side, Saleem Mandviwalla signed the agreement, while Zhu Chongwang and Hao Jialong represented the Chinese firms.
These agreements are expected to promote industrial collaboration, support the development of the tea sector, and further strengthen bilateral economic ties and people-to-people connections between the two countries.
