font face="georgia" size="3">Pakistan conducted the successful training launch of surface to surface ballistic missile (SSBM), Shaheen-1. The launch was aimed at testing operational rediness of Army Strategic Forces Command (ASFC) ensuring Pakistan's credible minimum deterrence. The DG ISPR said that SHAHEEN-1 is capable of delivering all types of warheads upto range of 650 kilometers.span style="background-color: rgb(242, 245, 248);"> 
According to a press release issued by the ISPR, the launch was conducted as part of a training exercise "aimed at testing the operational readiness of Army Strategic Forces Command".
The DG ISPR said that today’s training launch, having its impact point in the Arabian Sea, was witnessed by Director General Strategic Plans Division, Commander Army Strategic Forces Command, Chairman NESCOM, senior officers from the Army Strategic Forces Command, Scientists and Engineers of the strategic organizations.
