International Tennis Federation (ITF) has rejected Pakistan's appeal, Davis Cup tie to be played in Nur Sultan.
Davis Cup matches between Pakistan and India in Asia-Oceania Group One were scheduled for November 29 and 30 in Islamabad, but Indian tennis officials announced the shift to a neutral location on November 4, justifying security.
The Pakistan Tennis Federation appealed a review to the decision, which the ITF rejected and has now informed both countries about conducting the competition in Kazakhstan.
Tennis stars Aisam-ul-Haq and Aqeel Khan have already bypassed the competition on the injustice done by Pakistan by the International Tennis Federation.
According to sources, the Pakistan tennis team will be participating in the Davis Cup tie after the appeal is dismissed, but the PTF is likely to extinguish the junior team instead of the seniors.
