Tomato prices could not go down in different cities of Sindh
The prices of tomatoes have yet to come down as they are still being sold in high prices.
In Badin, Sindh's agricultural and tomato-producing district, a new crop has been introduced in the market, but the demand for tomatoes has not made a clear difference due to high demand and shortage of supply.
font size="3">According to details, tomatoes are being sold in Badin for even less than Rs100 per kg. However, the same fruit is being sold in Karachi's Sabzi Mandi for Rs200 per kg. In the city, the price of tomatoes have skyrocketed to almost Rs300 per kg.
