Abu Dhabi, Bill Gates, Global Entities Assure Billions of Dollars to Make Pakistan Polio Free

Assistant Prime Minister Dr Zafar Mirza has said that the World Gates Foundation, along with the Bill Gates Foundation, will contribute $ 2.6 billion to make the country completely polio free.
Addressing a meeting of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in Abu Dhabi, Special Assistant to National Health Minister Dr. Zafar Mirza, who is assisting Prime Minister Imran Khan, said that the government of Pakistan had planned an integrated and comprehensive program to eradicate polio from the country.
Dr. Zafar Mirza praised the Bill Gates Foundation's services for eradication of polio, saying that the World Bank will provide $ 2.6 billion in aid to Pakistan to end polio, of which $ 1.08 billion will be donated by the Bill Gates Foundation. ۔
Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan added that the government will allocate $ 150 million to eliminate polio from Pakistan.
