font size="3">While giving a weekly press briefing to journalists in Islamabad, Foreign Office spokesman Dr. Mohammad Faisal said that India had been stalking Kashmiris' fundamental rights for several months and there was a complete lockdown situation in occupied Kashmir for 110 days.
Dr Muhammad Faisal said that curfew is still in force in the occupied valley, India has detained the Hurriyat leaders for several days and the communication system and the internet is also closed, the international community should take notice of the situation in occupied Kashmir.
The Foreign Office said that India should allow international human rights personnel and foreign journalists to visit Jammu and Kashmir.
He further said that the Indian attempt to visit the diplomats in occupied Kashmir proved unsuccessful and the claim of India being the largest democracy has been made public.
Dr Muhammad Faisal said no good was expected from India, injustice was being done to the minorities in India which led to the rise of extremism there.
In reference to Colonel Retired Habib Zahir, who has gone missing from Nepal, Dr Muhammad Faisal said that Colonel Habib was abducted from the Lambini area of Nepal two years ago.
He said that Colonel (R) Habib's family are very worried about his disappearance. He has seen Colonel (R) Habib's death certificate which looks fake.
