Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office, Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.
Nadeem Raza received the commission in Sindh Regiment, and he also commanded the regiment in Waziristan. He has also been the commander of Pakistan Military Academy. General Nadeem Raza has been in command of Corps Commander Rawalpindi in December 2016 and the Chief of General Staff at GHQ since August 2018.
General Nadeem Raza will replace Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mehmood Hayat and his appointment will be applicable from November 27.
