US President Trump has said Pakistan is thankful for facilitating the release of abductees in Afghanistan, he said while talking to Prime Minister Imran Khan over the telephone.
Prime Minister Imran Khan and US President Donald Trump have telephonic contact, Pakistan-US bilateral relations and regional issues were discussed in the talks.
Talking to the US President about the release of the abductors from Afghanistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the release of the abductees is a positive development.
US President Donald Trump thanked the Prime Minister for facilitating the release of the abductors. On this occasion, Afghan leaders were also discussed between the two leaders.
In addition, the Prime Minister apprised President Trump of the recent situation in occupied Kashmir. Imran Khan said that over a hundred days, 80 million Kashmiris are still locked in their homes.
Appreciating Trump's ongoing efforts for mediation, Donald Trump should continue his efforts for a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue.
On the occasion, the leaders agreed to continue the close relations between the two countries and also to strengthen bilateral relations in the context of meetings and talks held in Washington.
