The government has issued orders to the police not to allow any person or organization to defy the Quran.
The government has issued a new legal interpretation on the basis of the constitutional clause on racism, which prohibits any activity that harms religious symbols on the police, while trying to discredit the Quran. Hate speech will be prosecuted against the person because such incidents threaten the Muslim response and retaliation.
On November 16, an anti-Islamist Stop Islamization of Norway (Xi'an) rally in Norway, in which its leader, Lars Thorson, tried to burn the Quran, but some Muslim youths tried to defame it.
