Roadside bombs kill 15 people, including eight children, in Kunduz, Afghanistan's northeastern province.
The Afghan Ministry of Interior blamed the blast, saying that almost all of the victims were women and young children. However, the Taliban have not yet claimed responsibility for the blast.
According to Afghan authorities, women and girls were riding in a car at a wedding party when the bomb exploded near the car, killing 15 people. The deceased included six women, six girls and two infants, as well as a male driver of the vehicle.
It should be noted that more than half of Afghanistan is still under Taliban control, while attacks on Afghan troops in various areas have become routine. The attacks have resulted in the loss of lives of Afghan civilians as well as civilians on a large scale.
