Armed Forces Undergoing Major Transformation to Meet Future Warfare Challenges, Asim Munir
According to ISPR, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir observed large-scale field training exercises titled “Exercise Steadfast Resolve” in Khairpur Tamiwali, where troops demonstrated advanced combat capabilities. The exercises featured the practical employment of drones, modern surveillance systems, electronic warfare tools, and advanced command-and-control systems, reflecting preparedness for future battlefield environments.
The Field Marshal appreciated the high morale, professional excellence, and operational readiness of the troops. Addressing officers and soldiers, he stated that the Armed Forces are fully capable of countering all forms of threats to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He emphasized that achieving a high level of preparedness at all tiers is essential to meet the demands of future warfare.
Highlighting the evolving character of conflict, Field Marshal Asim Munir noted that contemporary wars are increasingly technology-driven. He stressed that technological combat capabilities will replace traditional physical measures, making a mindset shift toward innovation and technological adaptability a critical requirement of the time.
