PM Shehbaz Sharif Extends Warm Welcome to Kazakh President
President Tokayev was presented with a guard of honor, while the national anthems of Pakistan and Kazakhstan were played. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif introduced the visiting dignitary to members of the federal cabinet, while the Kazakh president introduced the prime minister to members of his delegation.
A formal welcoming ceremony was held in honor of the Kazakh president, attended by senior officials and diplomatic delegations from both countries.
Following the ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held an important bilateral meeting, during which they held detailed discussions on bilateral relations, regional developments, and ways to enhance cooperation across multiple sectors. Both leaders agreed to further strengthen ties between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
After the meeting, a signing ceremony was held for memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and agreements aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation. The prime minister and the Kazakh president also signed a joint declaration, described as a significant step forward in strengthening bilateral relations.
