Zaeem Qadri Passes Away
His funeral prayers (Namaz-e-Janaza) will be offered after Maghrib at 26 Lawrence Road, Lahore.
Born on December 25, 1964, in Lahore, Zaeem Qadri served as a Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) of Punjab from 2008 to 2018. During his political career, he also served as an adviser to former Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and held responsibilities as the spokesperson for the Punjab Government.
In 2018, following internal party differences, he parted ways with the Pakistan Muslim League (N).
Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan expressed deep sorrow over his passing, stating that he was saddened to hear of the demise of the senior politician. He said Zaeem Qadri’s political and social services would always be remembered, adding that the late leader played a significant role in public service and the promotion of democratic values. He extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to attain a high rank in Jannah and for the family to be granted patience.
Zaeem Qadri is remembered for his active role in Punjab’s political landscape and his contributions to governance and public communication.
