Punjab Shines with Ramzan Nigehban Displays
From major urban centers to small towns, streets, mosques, markets, and public squares have been adorned with colorful lights to mark the arrival of the sacred month of fasting.
In Rawalpindi, preparations for Ramadan have reached their peak. Major highways, commercial markets, and intersections are illuminated with glowing neon “Ramzan Nigehban” signs. Green belts along the roads have been decorated with vibrant lighting, while poles along key roads display the illuminated names of Allah, creating a serene and spiritual ambiance at night.
Market entrances feature beautifully designed Ramadan-themed illuminated arches, becoming a major attraction for residents and visitors alike.
Similar festive scenes can be witnessed in Chakwal and Talagang, where streets, bazaars, and main highways have been elegantly decorated. Special lighting arrangements have been installed at “Nigehban Ramadan Bazaar” and “Nigehban Dastarkhwan” sites, attracting large crowds eager to experience the celebratory atmosphere.
Cities including Attock, Khushab, Mianwali, and Faisalabad are also glowing with colorful lights. Meanwhile, Bahawalpur, Nankana Sahib, Sargodha, Vehari, Gujrat, and Muzaffargarh have also enhanced Ramadan festivities with decorative lighting displays.
Further celebrations are visible in Khanewal, Lodhran, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalnagar, Sahiwal, and Pakpattan, where special lighting arrangements have been completed to celebrate the holy month.
