IHC Orders Scheduling of Appeals in Toshakhana-II Case
During the proceedings, the court removed objections raised by the registrar’s office on the main appeals and approved miscellaneous applications seeking the removal of those objections. The court also granted an extension of time to address procedural objections related to the appeals.
The hearing was conducted by Justice Khadem Hussain Soomro. Barrister Salman Safdar and Salman Akram Raja appeared before the court on behalf of the appellants. The three sisters of Imran Khan were also present during the hearing.
The next hearing in the case has been scheduled for March 11.
The Toshakhana-II case pertains to allegations related to the retention and sale of state gifts, a matter that remains under judicial review as the appeals process moves forward.
