331 Afghan Taliban Killed
According to figures released at 9:00 a.m. on February 28 by Federal Information Minister Ataullah Tarar, Pakistani air and ground forces carried out precision strikes at 37 locations across Afghanistan. The government claims 331 Afghan Taliban operatives were killed and more than 500 injured during the operations.
Official sources stated that 104 Afghan Taliban check posts were completely destroyed, while 22 additional posts were captured and brought under full control of Pakistani forces. Furthermore, 163 tanks and armored vehicles were reportedly destroyed.
Security officials said the operation would continue until all designated objectives are achieved.
