US F-15 Fighter Jet Crash, Video Goes Viral
The pilot successfully ejected from the aircraft before impact and was reported safe. Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the crash, and an official investigation is currently underway.
Videos circulating online show the aircraft engulfed in flames as it descends toward the ground, but no further official details have been released so far.
The F-15 Eagle was developed to achieve air superiority for the US Air Force and was first introduced in 1976. The aircraft has maintained an unmatched air-to-air combat record of 104–0 up to 2026. It was originally designed by McDonnell Douglas, which later became part of Boeing.
Capable of reaching speeds of up to Mach 2.5, the F-15 is known for its long-range performance and ability to carry heavy weapon loads. The platform has since been upgraded into advanced variants such as the F-15E Strike Eagle and the latest F-15EX Eagle II.
The incident occurred in Kuwait, a key location for US military operations in the Middle East.
