Imran Khan’s Ex-Wife Fined Substantially
According to international media reports, a British court imposed the fine after a vehicle registered in Jemima Khan’s name was found to have exceeded the legal speed limit. The court also noted that she failed to respond in time to a police notice requesting details of the driver at the time of the offense.
Under UK law, failing to respond to an official police notice regarding driver identification is considered a separate violation and can result in an additional penalty. The total fine amounts to approximately £1,000, which is equivalent to over PKR 370,000.
Jemima Khan was married to Imran Khan in 1995, and the couple separated in 2004. They have two sons together.
