Roadside Iftar Initiative Spreads Hope in Lahore During Ramadan
Every day, approximately 200 to 250 people — including children, women, elderly citizens, and laborers — gather to break their fast together. While the meal is simple, it is served with sincerity, dignity, and warmth, reflecting the true spirit of Ramadan.
The NGO’s organizer, Owais Ahmed, said the initiative has been ongoing for several years.
According to the organizers, the goal is not only to provide food but also to ensure that those in need can break their fast with dignity and comfort.
Among the beneficiaries is a fasting security guard, Arbaz Ali, who expressed gratitude for the arrangement.
