MS Dhoni Fined
According to Indian media reports, Dhoni was monitored through the traffic surveillance camera system in Ranchi, where he was allegedly found overspeeding near his residence. Authorities issued an e-challan of ₹1,000 under India’s Motor Vehicles Act for the violation.
Reports indicate that the fine was generated automatically through the city’s traffic monitoring system, and no exceptions were made despite Dhoni’s high-profile status.
In a separate development, it was also reported that the Jharkhand State Housing Board had previously issued a notice to Dhoni over the alleged misuse of a residential plot in Ranchi. Officials reportedly expressed concerns that the property might be used for commercial purposes, which would be a violation of housing regulations.
There has been no official public statement from Dhoni regarding the traffic fine or the housing board notice.
