PM Shehbaz Sharif BIG Announcement
Addressing the nation, the prime minister said the Middle East is currently facing a serious and dangerous situation, with Iran and other parts of the region affected by intense conflict. He expressed deep concern over the loss of human lives, the suffering of displaced families, and threats to regional peace.
Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan is making diplomatic efforts to promote peaceful solutions to the crisis. He also highlighted ongoing security challenges from Afghanistan, noting that infiltration attempts are being countered by the country’s armed forces under the leadership of Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff.
The prime minister paid tribute to the armed forces for protecting the country’s sovereignty and ensuring the safety of citizens. He also expressed condolences over the deaths caused by Israeli attacks, including the reported martyrdom of Ali Khamenei and innocent Iranian civilians, while strongly condemning the attacks on Iran.
Pakistan also condemned attacks affecting several brotherly Muslim countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Azerbaijan, where the loss of lives has been described as tragic and alarming.
