Bank Robbery Foiled
According to police officials, ASI Bahar Ali was critically injured during a robbery attempt near Machni Gate in Peshawar. The incident occurred when criminals tried to rob nearly PKR 25 million (2.5 crore) from a bank.
Police said that ASI Bahar Ali, along with another officer, rushed to the scene immediately after receiving information about the robbery. When the suspects attempted to flee with the cash, the officers confronted them and tried to stop the escape.
During the confrontation, one of the robbers opened fire, seriously injuring ASI Bahar Ali. Despite his injuries, his brave action helped prevent the massive robbery from being successful.
He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and remained under treatment. However, he could not survive his wounds and passed away while receiving medical care.
Police authorities praised his courage and dedication, stating that ASI Bahar Ali showed extraordinary bravery in the line of duty, and his sacrifice will always be remembered.
