4.0 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Karachi
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 4.0 on the Richter scale. Officials stated that the epicenter was located in the Arabian Sea, approximately 100 kilometers south of Karachi, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The earthquake was recorded at 1:27 PM, the department confirmed. Although the tremors caused brief fear among residents, no immediate reports of casualties or property damage have been received so far.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation while advising citizens to remain calm and follow safety precautions during seismic activity.
