PM Warns of Emergency Preparedness Amid Regional Situation
During the meeting, officials briefed the Prime Minister on the progress made in enforcing cost-saving initiatives. It was highlighted that directives issued by the Prime Minister are being strictly implemented, while the Intelligence Bureau will monitor compliance and submit regular reports.
Authorities confirmed that Pakistan currently holds sufficient petroleum reserves to meet national requirements. The Prime Minister instructed the Minister for Petroleum to take more proactive steps to strengthen the country’s petroleum import supply chain.
He further emphasized that all relevant institutions must remain prepared for emergency measures until the situation stabilizes.
