U.S. Needs No Help, Trump
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump emphasized that the United States is a powerful nation capable of making independent decisions without relying on external help.
He also criticized the NATO alliance, suggesting that it was making a “major mistake” by not standing alongside the U.S. during the crisis.
Responding to remarks by Emmanuel Macron—who indicated that France would not participate in any potential military action in the Strait of Hormuz—Trump claimed that Macron would soon leave office.
Trump further mentioned that countries such as Japan, Australia, and South Korea had expressed agreement with the U.S. position but did not provide practical support during the crisis.
It is worth noting that several key nations—including United Kingdom, France, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and China—have reportedly declined participation in any potential military action related to the Strait of Hormuz.
The situation highlights growing divisions among global powers as geopolitical tensions continue to escalate in the region.
