Nora Fatehi Breaks Silence, Says Vulgar Version Made Without Consent
The song, featuring veteran actor Sanjay Dutt, sparked backlash shortly after its release due to its allegedly inappropriate lyrics. Social media users criticized the track, calling it vulgar and unsuitable.
Addressing the issue in a video statement, Nora revealed that she originally recorded the song three years ago in Kannada and did not find anything inappropriate at the time. She explained that the meaning of the song was clearly communicated to her during filming, but she had no knowledge of the later Hindi adaptation.
Nora Fatehi further alleged that the controversial Hindi version was produced without her consent. She also claimed that an AI-generated image of her and Sanjay Dutt was used for the song’s promotional poster without authorization.
The actress emphasized that she was not consulted regarding these changes and distanced herself from the final version that has now become the subject of public criticism.
